Below, you will find copies of all group communications (including copies of emails), forms and links. Materials are posted oldest on the bottom - newest at the top. If items are edited/changed - they have a (revised date).
REMEMBER: Directors must be current members of CBA. We suggest that you have your membership updated by September 1 each year, as we email director information ONLY to current CBA members. Only directors with CBA memberships completed by November 15 will be able to upload student auditions for the 2025 All-State Band.

All-State Band Audition Platform Update
- We are now using a new audition platform, AuditionHub, which is also used for All-State Jazz and All-State Orchestra. Once you complete the director setup for one ensemble, it can apply to all three.
- Important: Directors must register their students. You may create a link to share with parents for student registration, but due to student privacy regulations, students cannot complete their own registrations.
- Support materials are available in the Resources menu of AuditionHub, and you may contact Casey or Scott with any questions.
- Please ensure your CBA membership is current for this school year before beginning the registration process. Membership must be valid for students to audition for All-State Band.
PAST COMMUNICATIONS/INFORMATION:
March 16, 2026 - Directors were emailed information on part-reassignments and results of the re-auditions. Copy of the email HERE
February 4, 2026 - Students were emailed (the only email we send directly to students) with reminders about getting music, turning in registration forms, upcoming re-auditions, T-Shirt Orders and information on concert recordings. Copy of the email HERE
January 5, 2026 - Emails were sent to all directors who had students selected as members or alternates (copy here) and to all directors who had students audition, but none selected (copy here). These emails outline the important next steps
January 4, 2026 - Directors page was updated with the Member and Resource Links (above), The Members Only page was updated with new links so students could access music and reference recordings, and school drop folders were created, with a link on the directors page (above). Directors must use the email account they used on Audition Hub. We had issues with some districts last year, so if you have problems getting into your drop folder, let Scott know and we'll troubleshoot.
December 12, 2025 - We have again confirmed with the Doubletree hotel and have a block of 80 rooms on hold specifically for All-State Band. Schools must do their own individual booking and are responsible for all charges. To get one of our reserved rooms, use THIS LINK. This is the information we got from the Doubletree to help with rooms: If schools could notify us once they've booked their rooms (if not sending a list), we can make sure their reservations are "grouped" separately, so their bill is easier. We can also send out a Credit Card Authorization form and collect their Tax Exempt certificates in advance — this makes check in and departure so much easier for them!
November 21, 2025 - Wording changed on the 2025-26 Auditions page to clarify that only directors can register and upload recordings and that the audition link is located on the directors page. The wind Step-By-Step instruction was replaced with a version that doesn't show the wrong audition fee amount. We voted to raise the audition fee to $30 after the 2024 All-State Band weekend and this was reflected on the website, but that document was not updated. The new version does not list an amount, instead refers people to the website.
November 14, 2025 - Wording to clarify the CHSAA member school requirement was added to the 2025-2026 Audition page. This is nothing new - but clarifies that only students that attend CHSAA member schools are eligible to audition/participate.
November 13, 2025 - Audition platform work-around. If you had already created an account on the new audition platform (Audition Hub) for All-State Jazz or All-State Orchestra, and didn't mark you would have student audition for All-State Band, you can't see the band section. Our Audition Hub guru has created a work around. Click this link https://www.auditionhub.org/app/director/add-groups to add the additional group(s).

September 14, 2025 - CMU Audition help video link has been posted on the 2025-26 Auditions page. Students are no longer required to provide a verbal introduction at the beginning of their audition (they will NOT be penalized if they include an introduction). The step by step instructions (above and on the 2025-26 Auditions page) have been updated with the change.
May 23, 2025 - NEW Directors Audition Poster uploaded to correct an error on when to end in the saxophone excerpt 2 (The individual saxophone page was correct, as was the left of the directors sheet - saxophone students should end on the downbeat of measure 26)
